Lauren Conrad, best known for starring in the MTV reality series The Hills from 2006 through 2010, has launched Lauren Conrad Beauty — a makeup and skincare line focused on clean ingredients and eco-friendly materials. 

The line’s first products are eyeliner, lipstick, lip & cheek tint, liquid highlighter, and lip gloss. The lipstick package doesn’t contain any metal parts, so it can be put in a standard recycling bin without disassembly.

Conrad tells Cosmopolitan, “I wanted to be involved in every step and develop a line that I felt really passionate about. I had a checklist that I needed someone to be able to get on board with: I wanted to do a line that was clean, vegan, eco-friendly, and ethically sourced. And we did.”
